my father had a fight with a man who looked homeless.
i parked my car onto melrose next to escondido ave. where i live.
i was walking to my car when my father drove past.
that man was next to me walking.
he started to yell at my father.
he pulled a gun on me.
he fired.
i thought i was safe.
i thought the bullets missed me.
then i felt my stomach.
i saw blood thru the black shirt onto my skin.
i yelled for my father as he was passing with my mother in the car.
they paid no attention.
i then accepted my fate.
i tried to live the rest of my day normal only with a bullet wound in my stomach.
i went to a eatery.
everyone there saw the hole and blood.
they all just said the normal thing people say when someone is hurt or sick.
"aww i hope you get better".
as i was getting food at the counter i bleed everywhere.
kept going on like nothing had happened.
after finishing the line of the counter i accpeted my death.
i then passed out.
although i could still see.
then i woke up. |

i have always found it very hard to write about myself.
i mean when someone gives me an assignment to write about what my strengths are or what i find to be best about myself, i just find it very hard to relate.
i guess i find it hard for me to see any redemable qualities in me.
since middle school i've never really excelled at anything, i am not really an above average student and everything about me is average, pretty much.
i also find it very hard to take comments on myself, i always think the person is always laughing secretly at me or they are just making fun of me.
and when people dont call me back it always makes me feel like i either always have to be the friend or they just dont want to be my friend. i know its weird.
i guess its just really hard for me to know that people like me, as if they never would and i accept that as everyones thoughts.
i've wanted to say this for along time but i've had nowhere else to say it. |
